Your courage
You started again when starting again was terrifying. That takes more strength than most people will ever understand.
A true story in three chapters
Two souls. One strange and beautiful path home.

Decree of the day ·
Honey shall be protected, adored, made to laugh, and reminded that she is never alone in this kingdom.
Sealed by her Bee 🐝Something I haven’t said this way before
You changed the temperature of my whole life.
You made the rooms feel warmer. You gave ordinary evenings a pulse. You turned “what are we doing tonight?” into a question I actually look forward to answering, even when the answer is absolutely nothing.
I don’t only love you in the dramatic moments. I love you in sleepy mornings, half-finished conversations, random errands, shared silence, stupid jokes, animal detours, and every small decision that quietly says: we live this life together now.
You are not simply someone I want beside me when life is spectacular. You are the person I want near me while laundry spins, coffee brews, cats demand tribute, Jayce fills the room with noise, and tomorrow is still figuring itself out.
The unofficial philosophy of us
“Variety is the spice of life.”
So let our life contain everything: loud adventures and slow Sundays, ancient chants and ridiculous memes, deep confessions and nonsense, butterflies and bubblegum demons, passion and peace.
“Normal is a setting on a dryer.”
So we will never waste our time trying to look ordinary. I would rather build something strange, honest, vivid, and completely ours.
What I see when I look at you
You started again when starting again was terrifying. That takes more strength than most people will ever understand.
Life gave you reasons to harden, yet tenderness still finds its way through you—to animals, to Jayce, and to me.
You stand on business. You are not built to disappear quietly into somebody else’s version of you.
You notice the unusual things. You find meaning, beauty, and wonder where other people would walk straight past it.
You keep choosing growth, even when old instincts tell you to run. I notice every single time.
Your happiness is contagious—especially when rabbits, food, plants, butterflies, or a suspiciously cheap animal are involved.
Every piece belongs
Not a highlight reel pretending every moment was perfect. A collection proving every kind of moment became ours.
Home was never only a place.
What I hope you feel here
I want this home to be somewhere you can exhale. Somewhere you can be playful, tired, ambitious, overwhelmed, affectionate, quiet, loud, or gloriously weird—and never wonder whether only the convenient pieces of you are welcome.
I want you to feel wanted without being possessed, supported without being managed, and protected without ever being made smaller. I want you to know that your voice has weight here and your dreams deserve room.
You never have to become easier to love. I only want us to keep becoming better at loving each other—honestly, deliberately, and in ways we can both feel.
By order of the House
Variety shall remain the spice of life. Routine may support us, but it will never be permitted to dull us.
Normal shall remain a setting on a dryer. Weirdness is not merely allowed here; it is part of the architecture.
No one fights the demons alone. We name them, lower their energy, and remember they are not the truth.
Love must remain a verb. Words matter, but actions build the walls, windows, and foundation.
The mundane is sacred. Errands, quiet nights, family time, and mornings together count as real romance.
All $5 chickens, rabbits, and chinchillas require serious consideration. This article is legally questionable but emotionally binding.
For whatever kind of day finds you
Choose the one you need. There is no wrong door.
For whenever you need one more reason
Every dip holds a memory, a promise, or a little piece of truth.

The living moments

What I’m building toward
I see a home that gets louder, warmer, stranger, and more alive. I see family days with Jayce, too many animals, road trips with no dignified soundtrack, projects that begin as jokes and somehow become traditions.
I see us continuing to learn how to love each other in the language the other person can actually feel. I see disagreements that end in understanding instead of distance. I see independence beside partnership—not one swallowed by the other.
Mostly, I see thousands of unremarkable days made meaningful because you are in them. That is the future I want: not a perfect life, but an honest one we keep choosing on purpose.
A blessing for your day
Made with one intention: that goodness finds you today and follows wherever you go.
Before you reach the end
Ah’lexus—if you remember nothing else from this strange little kingdom, remember this: you never have to wonder whether I choose you. I already have, and I will keep doing it in all the ordinary ways that make a life.
Always,The story continues
You are the person I want beside me while the whole strange book keeps being written.
